The 2026 Speech Day at Harrow Hong Kong Children School Shenzhen Qianhai (HHKCS) drew to a wonderful close on this hopeful summer day! It was a coronation of achievement for our K3 and Grade 6 graduates—a moment that added a profound and shining full stop to their growth story.
A Shared Beginning of Growth
The ceremony opened with the elegant strains of classical music. Our Principal, the Head of Early Years, and, from across the seas, Mr Alastair Land, Head Master of Harrow UK, each delivered their heartfelt greetings and messages—every word carrying the warmth of a 450-year heritage.
On stage, our K3 children delivered a heartfelt graduation performance, while our Grade 6 graduates sang the prelude to their youth. In this moment, the Harrow spirit was no longer just words in a book—it became a living, beating pulse on stage.
Reflecting on Our Academic Journey
On the big screen, a montage of our children’s growth journey unfolded—each frame capturing their transformation from wide-eyed newcomers to confident young individuals.
When it was time for speeches, our little lion stepped onto the stage with confidence. Moving effortlessly between English, Cantonese, and Mandarin, they delivered their addresses with such fluency and grace that the audience erupted in enthusiastic applause.
Tassel turned: honour received, legacy continued.
The moment our young graduates received their certificates, all the dedication and perseverance of their journey culminated in a well-deserved moment of honour and pride.
With the support of the AISL Group, HHKCS proudly awarded academic scholarships to G6–G11 students once again this year. After a rigorous review of academic performance and personal character, a group of truly exceptional students stood out. Seeing them receive their well-deserved honours from the Principal—the light in their eyes was absolutely priceless!
The G6 Values Award winners passed the Values flags to G5 student reps—passing the Harrow spirit from one pair of little hands to the next.
Growing Together: Home and School
The speeches from our K3 and G6 parent representatives spoke for every family: “Choosing HHKCS means choosing a big, warm, and supportive family.”
The ceremony ended with everyone singing the school song, Values of Life, together, followed by a group photo that captured this warm moment. Together, we witnessed an important milestone in our children’s lives.
Today’s stage shone especially bright because of every child’s unique brilliance. This was not just a speech day for leaving kindergarten and primary school—it was a grand celebration of courage, wisdom, and love.
